Future plans for 32nd and Shea area

Check out the updated plans for medians, turn lanes and beautifying 32nd St from Cheryl to Cholla.

We’ll also introduce you to Bobby Zokaites, the artist selected by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture for the public art component.

N32 Art is Coming – Bring Your Ideas!

The City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture and Street Transportation Department are planning an interactive meet the artist event for the public art component of the 32nd Street from Cheryl Drive to Cholla corridor improvement project. 

Tuesday, September 27 | 5-6:30pm
Shadow Mountain High School

This project was inspired by the community wanting to see changes and safety improvements along North 32nd Street.

Community input has shaped this project from the very beginning, and we hope to continue the public engagement!


Please feel free to share this invitation with your friends and neighbors so there is an inspirational sharing of ideas on the 27th!


The Street Transportation Department will be holding a third virtual meeting about the design effort on October 20th. Use the link below to register on the project website, and you can begin sharing that as well.

We need your help ensuring a good turnout for the design update!

Something BIG is coming…


We are still looking for Volunteers to help!

– Organize food prior to party day
– Help at the food table on party day
– Help at the sign-in table on party day
– Help monitor the bounce house on party day.  We are looking to sign people up for this job in 1 hour increments: 2-3pm, 3-4pm, 4-5pm
– Help set-up at the park at 1-2pm prior to the party start
– Help tear down at the park 5-6pm after the party
