A huge round of applause for Louisa Ward on winning this year’s Community Builder Award at the City of Phoenix’s Neighborhood Synergy Conference! Presented by Vice Mayor Debra Stark and the City of Phoenix Neighborhood Services, this award shines a spotlight on Louisa’s tireless dedication and passion for her community.
From leading the Mountain Preserve Block Watch to advocating for the growth and safety of the Sheaborhood, Louisa has gone above and beyond as a true neighborhood champion. Her countless volunteer hours, proactive leadership, and work as a liaison with the City of Phoenix make an impact year after year. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, she also serves on the Village Planning Committee as a volunteer member advising and voting on rezoning cases in District 3.
The Neighborhood Synergy Conference—held at the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort on September 7, 2024—celebrated its second year of bringing together neighborhood leaders of neighborhood groups to share the latest on city programs, and innovative ideas for neighborhood enhancement.
We’re so proud of Louisa and all the other winners who make our city such an incredible place to live. You can view the full list of winners here.
